We are SO excited to announce a special March 15 event at FACTORY|made…
2X2: PRODUCT AND PRINT DESIGN - a design community mixer and showcase of the technological process and products in two different fields of design.
PRODUCT: public launch of ”Furniture Designs from Salvage” - CU Green Tech student competition winning prototypes.
PRINT: “Moveable Type” Truck - a mobile print shop built into the back of a vintage delivery truck making a one-night-only stop in Boulder for 2X2 at FACTORY|made.
2X2 is a great opportunity to talk shop with student designers about evolving methods in furniture design and fabrication, and also experience the current trends, history and tradition of letterpress printing technology. Connect with others in the academic, professional and creative community who share a passion for design, and who care about the relationship between what we make and how we make it.
The winning furniture designs will be available for sale through FACTORYImade and ALL proceeds will benefit CU students. 75% of the sales will go directly to the student designers, and 25% will be donated to support the CU Center for Students in Recovery.
